Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who meet the Berlin diagnostic criteria of ARDS in 2012 and need invasive mechanical ventilation; 2. Aged >= 18 years; 3. PaO2/FiO2<=200.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with temporary or permanent pacemakers installed; 2. Obesity, body mass index >= 50%; 3. Hemodynamic instability; 4. Patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (GOLD III or IV).
