Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The diagnostic criteria of AIDS and PCP refer to the diagnostic criteria of the AIDS and Hepatitis C Group of the Infectious Diseases Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the Chinese AIDS Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines (2018 Edition) of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. 2. All patients were confirmed to be positive for anti-HIV-1 antibody by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) primary screening and Western blotting test (WB). 3. The diagnostic criteria for PCP are: (1) Insidious or subacute onset, dry cough, shortness of breath and aggravation after exercise, may have fever, cyanosis, and respiratory distress in severe cases; (2) There are few positive signs in the lungs, or a small amount of scattered dry and wet rales can be heard. Signs are often disproportionate to the severity of disease symptoms; (3) Chest X-ray examination: diffuse reticular nodular interstitial infiltration from the hilum of both lungs, sometimes with ground-glass opacity; (4) Blood gas analysis showed hypoxemia; (5) Blood lactate dehydrogenase is often elevated; (6) Diagnosis depends on pathogenic examinations such as sputum or bronchoalveolar lavage/lung biopsy to find cysts or trophozoites of Pneumocystis carinii.
