18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) First-ever brain injury; (2) classified as vegetative state / unresponsive wakefulness syndrome based on Coma Recovery Scale-Revised (CSR-R) and internationally established criteria; (3) loss of consciousness for more than one month; (4) Rehabilitaion intervention for no less than one month; (5)Have the neurological evaluation; (6) age 18–75 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Brain injury again; (2) neurological/psychiatric disorders; (3) Disorders of consciousness caused by other disease; (4) serious complications, including heart failure or renal failure; (5) history of seizure within one month;.
