Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants must meet ALL of the following criteria: 1. Chinese community-dwelling older adult (aged >=65 years). 2. Meet the criteria for qualification of pre-frailty, presenting one or two of the following: unintentional weight loss, slowness, weakness, exhaustion, and low physical activity. 3. Written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants will be excluded for ANY ONE of the following reasons: 1. The presence of any unstable clinical condition, 2. An inability to exercise or a condition that may interfere with the exercise intervention 3. Myocardial infarction in the past 3 months. 4. Comorbidities that may influence the 3-month prognosis. 5. Signs of ischemia during. 6. High risk of cardiovascular events or injury during exercise in the community. 7. Current participation in an ongoing exercise intervention.
