40 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Chinese patients whose age>= 40 years old; 2.Newly diagnosed of PAC and PACG; 3.Visual significant cataract; 4.Informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Unwilling or unable to give consent, unwilling to accept randomization, or unable to return for scheduled protocol visits. 2.Any condition precluding or presumed to preclude reliable visual fields, disc stereo photography; 3.Previous intraocular surgery (LPI is excepted); 4.Previous eye trauma resulting in documented damage to the drainage angle (such as angle recession); 5.For patients on warfarin, INR>3.0 on preoperative examination; 6.Evidence of moderate non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy, neovascularization, or rubeosis iridis; 7.Chronic use of topical or systemic steroids; 8.Eyes with intumescent cataract (Phacomorphic glaucoma) or symmetric ACD greater than 0.3mm and eyes with lens dislocation or malignant glaucoma proved by UBM; 9.Monocular subjects (BCVA worse than 0.1 (6/60) Snellen in the non-study eye).
