Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >=18 years and <70 years; 2. Tinnitus as the first complaint; 3. Able to complete all scale assessments independently; 4. All previous medications were ineffective; 5. Volunteered to participate in the study and signed an informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Contraindications to rTMS: including metal foreign bodies in the skull, pacemakers, wires or metal stents in the heart, traumatic brain injury, increased intracranial pressure, abnormal brain signs or intracranial tumors, cerebrovascular disease, neurodegeneration of the brain, metal objects in or around the body that cannot be removed, history of epilepsy and family history of epilepsy, history of electroconvulsive therapy, pregnant women; 2. Objective tinnitus ; 3. Mental disorders such as hysterical tinnitus and hallucinations; 4. Those who had received transcranial magnetic stimulation; 5. A recent history of dizziness attacks or concomitant diseases such as Meniere's disease, suppurative otitis media, or sudden deafness; 6. Patients with communication problems and inability to cooperate. All patients signed an informed consent form prior to treatment. 7. Contraindications to MRI: (e.g., presence of ferromagnetic aneurysm clips, pacemakers); 8. Use of sedative or GABA-acting drugs in the last month 9. Other ear diseases that can cause tinnitus: Ménière's disease, otitis media, etc.
