Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: idiopathic orbital myositis within 2 months of onset; The patient typically presents with acute onset, painful diplopia, and enhancing fusiform enlargement of the muscle belly, often with involvement of the muscle tendon on CT or MRI scan
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: bilateral involvement; thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy; definite or probable IgG4-related ophthalmic diseases; cranial nerve III, IV, or VI palsy; Brown syndrome; Duane retraction syndrome; extraocular muscle tumors such as fibroma, lymphoma, and granulosa cell tumor; systemic inflammatory disease; systemic autoimmune disease; positive myositis-specific autoantibodies; paraneoplastic syndrome; drug reaction
