Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Permanent residents of communities or villages and towns in the provinces and cities of each sub center (living for more than 9 months every year); 2. All patients were admitted to hospital within 7 days after the onset of the disease and met the diagnostic criteria set out in the Chinese guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of acute ischemic stroke 2018; 3. All patients were confirmed by CT or MRI as the first or recurrent cerebral infarction, and those in non sequelae stage and recovery stage.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores at admission were less than 1 or more than 26; 2. Transient ischemic attack and other non stroke diseases; 3. Patients with severe cardiopulmonary disease, liver and kidney failure, severe dementia and mental illness.
