Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The Patients underwent low-cost or regular VATS lobectomy from January 2013 to April 2020 by Dr.Dazhi Pang in Hong Kong University-Shenzhen Hospital were retrospectively reviewed. The inclusion criteria were the patients performed VATS lobectomy by Dr. Dazhi Pang on patients in general wards (excluding international medical care departments, due to different charging standards).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were as follows: Patients who were transfer to open for non-complication reasons, patients who resection of two or more lobes during operation, emergency surgery patients. One patient in the low cost group was excluded by resection of two lobes.
