Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 10 to 13 years, male or female; 2. Angle Class II1 maloccusion. with presence of mandibular retrusion and normal or mild maxillary protrusion 3. ANB >= 4 degree; 4. Molar distalization and mandibular recession at least half of the distance of premolars, anterior teeth coverage >= 4mm; 5. The lateral cephalogram showed high angle (FMA > 33 degree. 6. Oral condition was good (healthy periodontal tissue, no periapical infection and no unfilled caries).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with history of temporomandibular joint, systemic diseases, systemic metabolic diseases and medication history; 2. Bone island, osteoma, apical cyst, root resorption or root exposure in the orthodontic tooth movement area; 3. Periodontitis patients with periodontal attachment loss and alveolar bone resorption more than 10%; 4. Gingival recession 2mm; 5. Mental disorders or dyskinesia; 6. The patients with abnormal bone metabolism (including taking anti bone resorption drugs, hormone drugs and immunosuppressants).
