Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. A cohort of 3-year-old children with caries free: (1) No caries in their teeth; (2) Informed consent signed by guardian. 2. A cohort of 3-year-old children with dental caries: (1) At least one primary tooth has dental caries; (2) Informed consent signed by guardian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Having a serious illness and unable to complete the follow-up; 2.Cannot cooperate with oral examination.
