25 Years to 65 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 25 to 65 years,in patients with frozen shoulder diagnosed by the General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University; 2. An insidious onset of pain and stiffness with a clinical reduction in range of motion, principally>50% reduction in external rotation; 3. No underlying radiologic abnormality.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.A history of shoulder surgery or trauma; 2.Other comorbid shoulder pathology, such as instability, glenohumeral arthritis, rotator cuff tears, calcific tendinopathy, acromioclavicular arthritis or shoulder instability; 3.A history of any psychiatric disorders ; 4.Local corticosteroid injection or any physiotherapy intervention to the affected shoulder within the last 1 months ; 5.Cerebrovascular accident affecting the shoulder; 6.Concomitant disorders, such as serious infection or systemic disease (rheumatologic, cardiac, respiratory, gastrointestinal, neurological, endocrine, etc.); 7.Histories of neurological diseases or dementia, psychiatric disorders, or inabilities to complete the testing procedures and MRI scans ; 8.An unwillingness to participate in the study and patients with drug contraindications.
