Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing elective open partial hepatectomy; 2. Aged 18 to 65 years; 3. BMI(body mass index) between 18 and 30 kg/m2; 4. ASA grade I or II; 5. Class A Child-Pugh classification.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Contraindicated for epidural anesthesia; 2. Preoperative deep vein thrombosis (DVT) of lower extremities; 3. Concurrent neuromuscular diseases; 4. Severe respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, severe hepatic or renal dysfunction; 5. Alcoholism, abuse of any drugs, including narcotics.
