Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Hospital days of age 0 to 28 days or premature correct gestational age 37.5?), meningeal irritation, vomiting, convulsions, focal neurological dysfunction, altered consciousness or lethargy, increased white blood cell count in cerebrospinal fluid, increased protein levels in cerebrospinal fluid and/or decreased glucose levels, and brain imaging (cranial ultrasound /MRI/CT) showing changes in infection; 3.Clinically confirmed sepsis or septic shock; 4.Children who can receive cerebrospinal fluid sampling; 5.The families of the children gave informed consent to improve the cerebrospinal fluid test.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Incomplete information with less than 72 hours of hospitalization; 2.Congenital deformity of central nervous system development; 3.Lumbar puncture surgery cannot be performed, such as lumbar deformity or abnormal development or local skin infection; 4.Patients with high cranial pressure critical cerebral hernia.
