Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who underwent surgery for papillary thyroid carcinoma during Beijing Tongren Hospital, Capital Medical University; 2. The patients were all T1-4N0-1 lesions, and underwent unilateral gland lobe + isthmus + ipsilateral or bilateral neck lymph dissection or total thyroidectomy + ipsilateral or bilateral neck lymph node dissection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Medullary thyroid carcinoma, poorly differentiated carcinoma and undifferentiated carcinoma; 2. Tumor metastases to the whole body, especially those with bone metastases; 3. Those with secondary hyperparathyroidism; 4. Patients with abnormal parathyroid function and blood calcium due to other reasons; 5. Other surgical contraindications.
