Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 60 to 80 years; 2. For patients undergoing elective short surgery, the types of surgery are defined as follows: varicose stripping of the great saphenous vein, transurethral resection of the prostate, hysteroscopy or short external pudendal surgery; 3. For patients undergoing elective orthopedic large joint replacement, the types of surgery are defined as follows: total hip replacement, total knee replacement, femoral trochanteric/femoral neck fracture surgery; 4. For patients undergoing elective radical resection of digestive system tumors, the types of surgery were defined as follows: radical resection of gastric cancer, radical resection of colorectal cancer, and liver and pancreas tumor surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Refusal of informed consent for research; 2. Inability to communicate effectively due to vision, hearing, language and other problems; 3. History of central nervous system diseases (stroke, head injury, mental illness, etc.); 4. Major physical diseases (paralysis, amputation, etc.); 5. A history of major surgery in the past year (radical tumor resection, cardiac surgery, etc.); 6. Dysfunction of important organ systems (NYHA >= grade ?, Child-Pugh >= grade B, renal insufficiency >= stage 3); 7. Take antipsychotics, NSAIDs, and hormone drugs regularly in the past month; 8. Mini-mental state examination (MMSE) score: illiterate <= 17 points, elementary school <= 20 points, junior high school and above <= 24 points.
