18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 18 years; 2. Definitely diagnose type 2 diabetes in accordance with the WHO diagnostic criteria; 3. Perform a CT scan of the coronary arteries in the serial scan mode during the baseline check; 4. Able to understand the purpose and procedures of this research, and voluntarily sign an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Have received coronary artery stent surgery or coronary artery bypass graft; 2. Patients with severe lung (respiratory failure), liver (ALT or AST greater than 3 times the normal value and increased bilirubin), kidney (GFR less than 45ml/min/1.73m^2 or dialysis patients) insufficiency; 3. Malignant tumors; 4. Mental illness or intellectual disability; 5. Pregnant or breast-feeding women or those who have family planning; 6. Concomitant diseases that affect calcium balance and soft tissue calcification (hyperparathyroidism, sarcoidosis, amyloidosis); 7. Contra-indications of contrast agents; 8. According to the researcher's judgment, the compliance is poor and the research cannot be completed as required.
