Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 30 to 65 years; 2. Male or female; 3. Meet the diagnostic criteria of type 2 diabetes or periodontitis; 4. Willing to participate in the study and able to sign or provide authorized informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus, gestational diabetes mellitus and other special types of diabetes mellitus; 2. Those who took antibiotics or NSAIDs in recent 3 months; 3. Patients with severe systemic diseases or complications such as hematopathy, liver damage, kidney disease, and systemic inflammatory diseases; 4. Those who can not carry out the questionnaire due to unconsciousness, dementia, mental disorders, language communication difficulty or other reasons; 5. Foreigners; 6.Pregnant women.
