65 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 65 or above and in stable health condition; 2. Able to functionally communicate with therapists (screened and assessed by speech therapists by referring to the Chinese version of the Aphasia Severity Rating Scale of the Boston Diagnostic Aphasia Examination and those who rated over the scale 4 will be included); 3. No severe Cognitive impairment: Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale (MOCA), inclusion criteria: MOCA score >= 10); 4. Reside in a nursing home and have no plans to be discharged before the end of the data collection phase of the project (no plans to be discharged before October 2021); 5. Voluntarily participate in the research and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Unable to participate in reminiscence therapy due to physical (visual, auditory) or scheduling factors; 2. Diagnosed with other mental disorders other than depression and anxiety; 3. Receive other psychotherapeutic interventions or medication for mental disorders during the course of the experiment.
