Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The study included all patients who underwent thyroidectomy (Hemi and total thyroidectomy) regardless of the indications of the operation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The following have been excluded: patients with enucleation, isthmectomy, preoperative vocal cord paralysis, and/or abnormal calcium level (hypo or hypercalcemia).
