Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with grade IIa, IIb and III esophageal burns with alkali according to the Zargar classification.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The causative substances are not alkalis. 2. Patients who are hemodynamically unstable, have severe respiratory distress or evidence of perforation on imaging, or exhibit severe oropharyngeal or glottic edema and necrosis.
