Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Elderly patients undergoing elective surgery, aged 65-80 years; 2. No gender limit; 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I-III; 4. Body mass index (BMI) 20-30 kg/m^2.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients whose preoperative cognitive function is assessed as cognitive impairment (modified MMSE <26 or MMSE <24 and the patient's education level is below high school). 2. Emergency surgery patients. 3. Past history of gastrointestinal surgery, and patients with gastric emptying disorders (such as gastroesophageal reflux, history of chronic aspiration, delayed gastric emptying), gastrointestinal obstruction, and patients who cannot use enteral preparations. 4. Patients with high risk of severe cardiorenal insufficiency that affect the safety evaluation of the trial. 5. Patients with mental disorders, alcohol dependence, and drug abuse history. 6. Patients who have allergies or have been allergic to multiple drugs in the past, and those who are allergic to the relevant preparations needed in this study.
