Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All consecutive patients undergoing primary, unilateral hip or total knee arthroplasty.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing revision hip/knee arthroplasty; 2.Patients necessitating pre-operative or intra-operative use of catheter.
