Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All women aged 16 years or older with a diagnosis of PCOS will be recruited to join the study. PCOS is defined according to the Rotterdam consensus in 2003. Polycystic ovaries and exclusion of other aetiologies (congenital adrenal hyperplasias, androgen-secreting tumours, Cushing's syndrome). For those adolescents who are less than 18 years old, fulfilling 3 out 3 criteria will be required to be diagnosed as having PCOS as proposed by the recent ESHRE/ARSM proposed Rotterdam criteria in 2012.
