Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with biopsy-proven primary MN; 2. Aged 18-70 years old; 3. Persistent proteinuria 2-6g/d with supportive therapy including angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEis) and/or angiotensin-receptor blockers (ARBs) for >= 3 months; 4. Blood pressure =60ml/min/1.73m; 6. Maintain a stable diet and sodium intake during the study; 7. Sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who were treated with steroids or immunosuppressive therapy within the previous 3 months; 2. Urinary protein fluctuated > 2g/d; 3. Patients who were not suitable for HCQ treatment because of allergy or macular degeneration; 4. the presence of uncontrolled hypertension, malignance, liver dysfunction, pregnancy or lactation; 5. using tamoxifen; 6. life expectancy less than 6 months; 7. participating in other clinical studies; 8. other circumstances considered unsuitable for the study.
