Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Tibetan group: All the individuals were Tibetan who lived in Diqing Shangri-La area of Yunnan Province for a long time at an altitude of over 2500 meters (no intermarriage among blood relatives of 3 generations); 2. Han nationality group: All the individuals were Han nationality living in Kunming for a long time; 3. All patients met 4 of the revised SLE criteria of the American College of Rheumatology (1997): (1) erythema of facial butterfly; (2) Discoid lupus erythematosus; (3) Daylight allergy; (4) Arthritis: no deformity; (5) Pleurisy and pericarditis; (6) Epilepsy or psychiatric symptoms; (7) Oral and nasal ulcers; (8) Urinary protein above 0.5g/ day or with cell tube type; (9) False positive anti-DNA antibody, anti-Sm antibody, LE cell, biological test of syphilis; (10) Positive anti-nuclear antibody (fluorescent antibody method); (11) Antinuclear anemia, leukopenia (below 4000/mm3), lymphocytopenia (below 1500/mm3), thrombocytopenia (below 100,000 /mm3).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who live in an area below 2500 meters above sea level for a long time or live in a plain area continuously for more than 3 months; 2. There is intermarriage among blood relatives of 3 generations; 3. Incomplete medical history and relevant examination data; 4. Pregnant or lactating women, patients with mental illness or consciousness disorder, and unable to cooperate.
