Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 65 years and above; 2. Admission to the hospital for surgical repair of hip fracture; 3. Receive general anesthesia; 4. The preoperative simple mental status examination (MMSE) score is 24 points or above.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. A history of schizophrenia, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease or myasthenia gravis before surgery; 2. Unable to communicate due to coma, deep dementia, language barrier or serious illness before surgery; 3. Critical illness (preoperative ASA physical condition classification > 3), severe liver insufficiency (ChildePugh grade C), or severe renal insufficiency (preoperative dialysis).
