Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with sepsis based on the definition of sepsis 3.0; 2. Aged >= 18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients suffering from immunodeficiency diseases and using immunosuppressive or antitumor drugs; 2. Previous craniocerebral trauma, history of cerebrovascular disease (cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction), craniocerebral tumor, central nervous system infection, spinal cord injury, Guillain-barre syndrome, porphyrin neuropathy, paraneoplastic neuropathy and other neuromuscular weakness diseases; 3. Coma state, limb joint surgery, fracture, lower limb thrombosis and other patients must be immobilized; 4. Patients admitted to ICU for 72 hours or less.
