Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Chinese Han youths aged 15-25 years; 2.Presence of insomnia disorder according to International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems10th Revision (ICD-10) diagnostic criteria and Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) > 10; 3.Presence of current major depressive disorder as determined by the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI) and Patient Health Questionnaire 9-item (PHQ-9) >=10; 4.Accessibility to smartphones; 5.Agree to participate in this research and sigh the consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Shift workers; 2.Presence of moderate or high risk of suicide determined by MINI; 3.A diagnosis of psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, or neurodevelopmental disorders; 4.Medical conditions that interfere with sleep quality and sleep continuity, such as eczema, gastro-oesophageal and reflux disease; 5.An additional sleep disorder (other than insomnia) that may potentially contribute to a disruption in sleep continuity and quality, such as obstructive sleep apnea; 6.Change in antidepressant medication within the past 2 moths; 7.Currently receiving psychological treatment for insomnia; 8.Currently receiving electroconvulsive therapy(ECT); 9.Women during pregnancy or lactation.
