Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 25 weeks <= gestational age <= 34 weeks; 2. Patients with neonatal respiratory failure diagnosed within 1 hour after birth and requiring noninvasive assisted ventilation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe asphyxia (1 minute Apgar < 4 at 1minutes, or cord blood pH <7.0); 2. Cyanotic congenital heart disease (cCHD); 3. Maxillofacial developmental abnormalities (cleft palate, Distorted nasal septum, atresia of posterior foramen); 4. Chromosomal disease, genetic metabolic disease; 5. Shock; 6. Give up treatment within seven days of admission; 7. Infants who needed tracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation within 1 hour after birth.
