Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Parturient who aged 18-45 years and meeting the diagnostic criteria for gestational diabetes mellitus; 2. Naturally conceived, primiparity, single birth ; 3. Healthy health before pregnancy. with no history of major diseases as well as the corresponding operation history (serious acute/chronic infectious diseases, polycystic ovary syndrome, hematopoietic system disease, and heart, liver and kidney disease, etc.) and without other major diseases in addition to gestational diabetes and history of antibiotic drugs during pregnancy. Besides that, no other pregnancy complications (high blood pressure, kidney, cardiovascular disease, etc.) during postpartum period; 4. No history of exposure to toxic or harmful substances and no smoking or drinking during pregnancy; 5. Lived in Beijing for 1 year or more; 6. Regular obstetric examination during pregnancy and regular follow-up after delivery; 7. Exclusive breastfeeding; 8. Informed consent and willingness to provide specimens and healthy(Apgar score >=8 points and no other diseases), full-term (37 to 42 weeks) newborns with normal weight.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Lack of mother's OGTT data, maternity check-up information, etc.; 2. A history of type 1 or type 2 diabetes mellitus or history of abnormal glucose tolerance; 3. Unable to provide breast milk due to a major illness or emergency during follow-up; 4. Participating in other clinical trials.
