Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.The international Neuropsychiatric Brief Interview Questionnaire (MINI) was used, which met the diagnostic criteria of DSM-IV for major depressive episode; 2.Have not taken antidepressants for at least three weeks prior to enrollment; 3.17 Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) scores >=17; 4.Age range is between 18 and 45 years old, years of education>=12; 5.Right handed, Han nationality.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Persons with schizophrenia, alcohol and drug dependence that meet the DSM-IV diagnostic criteria; 2.Have a history of organic brain diseases, serious physical diseases and endocrine diseases; 3.A history of manic or hypomanic episodes; 4.Patients with psychotic symptoms during depressive episode; 5.Pregnant and nursing women; 6.Patients who had received electroconvulsive therapy 6 months before enrollment; 7.Patients with contraindications to MRI scan.
