Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Pathological biopsy showed adenocarcinoma of the rectum; 2.According to the pelvic MRI report, the distance between the lower edge of the tumor and the anal edge was <=8 cm; 3.The transverse diameter of the primary tumor was less than 4 cm; 4.According to the AmericanJoint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) Clinical Tumor Staging (7th Edition): T1~3N0~2; 5.ASA classification of the American Society of Anesthesiologists < III grade.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients under 18 years old; 2.Pregnancy; 3.Prior prostate or rectal surgery (excluding local excision); 4.Symptoms of acute intestinal obstruction; 5.Multiple colorectal tumors; 6.The problem with familial Adenomatosis Polyposis Coli (FAP), Hereditary non-polyposis Colorectal Cancer (HNPCC), is Colorectal Cancer. Active ulcerative colitis or active Crohn's disease; 7.There is absolute contraindication to general anesthesia.
