Age
65 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 65~90 years; 2. ASA score: II or III; 3. Diabetes (twice fasting blood glucose concentration >= 7 mmol/L or random blood glucose concentration >= 11.1 mmol/L with typical symptoms of hyperglycemia) or non-diabetic; 4. BMI<=35 Kg/m^2; 5. Elective gastroscopy .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Past space-occupying diseases and operations of the upper gastrointestinal tract (esophagus and stomach); 2. Recent (1 month) gastrointestinal bleeding; 3. Take drugs that delay gastric emptying; 4. Hypothyroidism.
