Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Glasgow Coma Score below 8; 2. Aged 18 years old or above; 3. No brain death; 4. Normal pupil response to light; 5. No history of brain injury: skull fracture, hemorrhage in temporal region, arrhythmia, drowning, hearing impairment; 6. 24 hours after withdrawal of sedatives; 7. Willing to sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Transfer out of the ICU during the experiment; 2. Death during the experiment; 3. A second operation is needed during the experiment.
