12 Years to 67 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged more than 12 years (with a completely closed apical foramen); 2. Either sex; 3. The avulsed tooth was single-rooted from either the maxilla or mandible; 4. Complete avulsion time exceeding 1 hour; 5. The periodontal ligament of the avulsed tooth had extensive necrosis due to dry storage or improper preservation; 6. The roots of the avulsed tooth were intact, with no visible root fractures to the naked eye; 7. The absence of defects in the alveolar socket bone wall of the affected tooth; 8. Voluntarily participated, willing to follow the treatment plan and come to the hospital for follow-up, and signed a written informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Defects in the alveolar socket bone wall of the affected teeth; 2. Hematological diseases such as thrombocytopenia, which are not conducive to wound healing; 3. Uncontrolled hypertension, hyperlipidemia, or diabetes; 4. Uncontrolled periodontitis; 5. Rampant caries; 6. Long-term heavy smokers; 7. A lack of opposing teeth, which is not conducive to occlusal loading; 8. Uncontrolled infectious diseases such as hepatitis B and tuberculosis; 9. Oral mucosal diseases and other severe autoimmune diseases; 10. Pregnant or intending to become pregnant within 2 years; 11. Abusers of alcohol or drugs; 12. Using corticosteroids or other hormonal drugs; 13. Inability or unwilling to cooperate with the trial and cannot undergo regular follow-up; 14. Unreasonable subjective demands.
