Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria of centric bruxism group: 1.Bruxism (clenching teeth when awake or sleeping) and the latest time was within 6 months; 2.There was at least one of the following clinical symptoms or signs: abnormal wear of teeth, tension of maxillofacial muscles in the morning, fatigue and soreness, hypertrophy of masseter and / or temporal muscles, buccal white line, tooth marks on the edge of tongue or buccal mucosa, and alveolar bone hyperplasia; 3.There was at least one of the following signs of tooth wear: unconscious clenching; tooth wear at the corresponding position of the incisor of the lower anterior teeth and the lingual surface of the upper anterior teeth when the cusp was crossed; and (or) the tooth wear mainly in the "Cup" shape at the supporting point of the posterior teeth and the corresponding central fossa of the opposite teeth, with thin and sharp guiding points and high and steep marginal ridge; 4.The age of the subjects was 18-40 years old; 5.The subjects had informed consent to the experimental process and use, and signing the informed consent form. Inclusion criteria of eccentric bruxism group: 1.Bruxism (when awake or sleeping) and the latest time is within 6 months; 2.There is at least one of the following clinical symptoms or signs: abnormal tooth wear, morning maxillofacial muscle tension, fatigue and pain, masseter muscle and / or temporal muscle hypertrophy, alveolar bone hyperplasia; 3.At least one of the following medical history or signs of tooth wear It was confirmed by others that there was nocturnal bruxism during sleep; there was horizontal tooth wear mainly related to the cusp and buccal tip of posterior teeth, which was corresponding to the lateral occlusal trajectory; 4.The age of the subjects was 18-40 years old; 5.The subjects had informed consent to the experimental process and use, and signed the informed consent form. Inclusion criteria of non-bruxism group: 1.There was no self perceived or informed history of bruxism; 2.There were no clinical symptoms or signs such as abnormal wear of teeth, tension of maxillofacial muscles, fatigue and pain, hypertrophy of masseter and / or temporal muscles, buccal white line, tooth marks on the edge of tongue or buccal mucosa, and alveolar bone hyperplasia; 3.The age of subjects was 18-40 years old; 4.The subjects had informed consent to the experimental process and use, and signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria of bruxism (centric type, eccentric type) and non-bruxism groups were as follows: 1.There was temporomandibular joint disorder, and osteoarthropathy was found in CBCT imaging; 2.The number of missing teeth was more than 2 (not considering the third molar); 3.Other factors may cause tooth wear; 4.Severe malocclusion; 5.Dental caries, periodontal disease or oral diseases that may lead to emergency; 6.Unilateral chewing habit; 7.History of maxillofacial trauma or surgery, prosthetic treatment and orthodontic treatment; 8.Treatment history of bruxism (splint, drug treatment); 9.The following systemic diseases exist: anxiety disorder, obstructive sleep apnea, gastroesophageal reflux disease, other types of sleep disorders (e.g., sleepwalking, insomnia, etc.), systemic dyskinesia (e.g., convulsions, chorea, etc.), dystonia and other muscle related problems, developmental disorders (including various types of autism, etc.), nervous system diseases (e.g., Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, cerebrovascular accident and brain trauma, etc.), endocrine disorders (such as hyperthyroidism, etc.). 10.Need to take the following drugs for a long time: antipsychotics; anti-parkinson's disease drugs; antidepressants; sedative hypnotics; antihypertensive drugs.
