Interventions

Experimental group:Before patient arrival in the operating room, an Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) cushion was placed flat on the surgical table and covered with a standard surgical drape. A
Control group:A gel pad was placed on the operating table and covered with the same type of surgical drape. No additional interventions were performed.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients aged >=18years; 2. Undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB),including valve surgerycoronary artery bypass grafting, or major vascular procedures; 3. Requiring supinepositioning during surgery; and 4. Intact sacrococcygeal skin preoperatively.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pre-existing skin conditions in the sacrococcygeal region(e.g., incontinence-associated dermatitis, pressure injuries, or abrasions); 2. Acute orchronic edema in the sacrococcygeal area; and 3. Known allergies to interventionmaterials.
