Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed with AECOPD according to GOLD criteria and admitted to ICU on mechanical ventilation; 2.Stay in ICU for more than 24h; 3.Patients did not use antipsychotics during hospitalization; 4.Spouse or children can provide time support; 5.Informed consent and sign the informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Exclude other organic syndesmes that can cause disturbance of consciousness, especially the acute state of mental impairment, acute transient mental disorder, schizophrenia, or affective disorder; 2.Contradictions for invasive ventilator use: (1)Viscous sputum or large amount of airway secretions that cannot be discharged; (2)Susceptible to aspiration (such as abnormal swallowing reflex, massive hemoptysis or severe upper gastrointestinal bleeding); (3)Head and face trauma or inherent nasopharyngeal abnormalities;Recent surgeries on face, mouth, esophagus and stomach; (4)Extreme obesity;Severe flatulence. 3.The patient had Alzheimer's disease; 4.The patient has severe audiovisual dysfunction and is unable to communicate; 5.The patient is also suffering from other major physical diseases that make it impossible for the patient to get out of bed; 6.Patients showed changes in their state of consciousness during the study, and the Glasgow Coma Score was lower than 15 points; 7.Patients died or withdrew from the study.
