Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged<=18 year; 2. Acute appendicitis was diagnosed and appendectomy was performed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Except for patients who do not agree to participate in the study or who cannot complete the 30-day follow-up period; 2. Except for patients who have received chemotherapy or radiation therapy in the past 8 weeks or are currently receiving immunosuppressive agents (except corticosteroids); 3. Except children with autoimmune diseases, hyperthyroidism, tuberculosis, malignant tumors and abnormal liver and kidney function; 4. Children with diabetes mellitus (hemoglobin A1C >8%) who had poor blood glucose control were also excluded from the study.
