Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patients undergoing heart valve replacement surgery in our hospital; 2. Aged 16 to 70 years; 3. Elective surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. left ventricular ejection fraction less than 30%; 2. haemodynamic instability; 3. neurological deficits or a history of stroke; 4. preoperative heparin or warfarin therapy; 5. a preoperative HCT value less than 33% and estimated CPB time of at least 120 min.
