Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The diagnostic criteria of the included cases refer to the definition of irreducible Pulpitis by the American Association of endodontics. 1) The results showed that there were involved pain or spontaneous pain in the affected teeth; 2) there were sharp pain of cold and hot stimulation in the affected teeth, and the pain was delayed after the cold and hot stimulation was removed, and the delay time was more than 30 seconds after the stimulation was removed; 3) the pain of the affected teeth could be aggravated with the change of body position; 4) the patients could not relieve the symptoms by taking painkillers other than prescription drugs; 5) There are caries, large area of fillings and other causes of pulpitis; 6) there is no discomfort in percussion, if the percussion is not comfortable, X-ray image does not show apical transmission shadow, can also be included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) General contraindications of dental or surgical treatment; 2) patients with pulp necrosis or bleeding for more than 5 minutes after pulpotomy; 3) patients who had taken painkillers and antibiotics to control symptoms at initial diagnosis and could not elicit symptoms during physical examination; 4) patients who had undergone root canal therapy or vital pulp preservation; 5) patients whose X-ray film showed periapical projection of affected teeth; 4) patients who had received root canal therapy or vital pulp preservation; 6) It is caused by wedge-shaped defect, cryptoschisis, periodontitis or tooth fracture; 7) patients who can not cooperate with treatment and patients with serious mental disorders or systemic diseases; 8) women in lactation or pregnancy; 9) poor compliance, unable to timely follow-up, resulting in incomplete image data.
