Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The lower age limit is 70 years; Patients planning to undergo gastrointestinal cancer surgeries, including gastric, colorectal, hepatic and pancreatic cancer; NRS over 3 when admitted; Willingness to provide informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: In terminal condition with a life expectation of less than 6 months; Severe visual or hearing impairment, advanced dementia or delirium; Patients already on nutritional support therapy; Patients unable to take food orally, due to gastrointestinal hemorrhage or ileus, or allergic to ONS.
