Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Selected people who visited the Nutrition Department of Shanghai sixth people's Hospital from 2018 to 2020 and completed the determination of body composition. Case group: age 18-70 years old, newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients, diagnosis time is not more than half a year, did not take hypoglycemic drugs, the diagnosis is in line with the 1999 WHO diagnostic criteria for diabetes. Control group: non-type 2 diabetic patients who were required to see a doctor in the same period with the case group were matched at 1:1, with the same sex and nationality, and the age difference was no more than 3 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Malignant tumors; thyroid dysfunction; postoperative gastrointestinal diseases; pregnant women, nursing mothers; secondary hyperglycemic diseases (pancreatic disease, Cushing syndrome, drugs, etc.).
