18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or III, aged 18 to 75 years, male patients and undergoing elective surgical procedures under general anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: We excluded patients with a history of asthma,chronic cough or medication containing angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor antagonists, bronchodilators and steroids. Patients with upper respiratory tract infection within 2 weeks before the operation were also excluded.
