Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Preschool children of cardiac surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass in our hospital are eligible for participation if they met the following criteria: 1. Aged <=7 year; 2. Undergoing elective cardiac surgery under CPB; 3. ASA I - III level.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Redo cardiac surgery; 2. Severe renal disease (receipt of dialysis or a serum creatinine level > 3.0 mg/dL); 3. current infections (e.g. sepsis); 4. preoperative treatment with gentamicin and vancomycin in the last seven days; 5. preoperative treatment with radiotherapy; 6. preoperative treatment with extracorporeal life support; 7. incomplete clinical data that statistical analysis could not be completed; 8. deep hypothermic CPB; 9. emergent surgery.
