18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Men and women who were planning to have implant treatment after tooth extraction with alveolar bone wall resorption defect because of dental fracture, periodontitis, or periapical periodontitis; (2) Over 18 years of age; (3) Provided a signed agreement from their guardian if the patient was younger than 20 years old; (4) Patients could undergo the treatment under local anesthesia with or without intravenous sedation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Uncontrolled diabetic diseases; (2) Uncontrolled hypertension, or hepatic and renal disorders; (3) Any systemic diseases associated with bone metabolism.
