Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (I) Patients: person aged 18 or above with advanced chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or chronic renal failure requiring dialysis or heart failure. Patients who live in any residential institutions (e.g., elderly home) or are clinically unstable (e.g., major change in medical regimen) in one month prior to enrolment will be excluded; (II) Family caregivers: the spouses, children, or significant others aged 18 or above who self-identify as the persons primarily responsible for the daily care of a patient with any abovementioned conditions; (III) Professionals: qualified members of health-related disciplines (i.e., physicians, nurses, social workers, clinical psychologists) of any ranks who have involved in the care for patients with chronic organ failure or their family caregivers; (IV) Other community members: persons who are experts in the field of family caregiving, including: academics or researchers of health or social sciences who have conducted academic activities related to family caregiving, members of non-governmental organisations or think tanks who have advocated for the rights of family caregivers, and journalists who have focused on reporting caregiving experiences in mass media.
