Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Consecutive patients referred to our department for primary implantation of CRT were prospectively included from January 2016 to December 2017. Patients were selected for CRT in the presence of severe LV dysfunction (LVEF = 150ms or 120-149ms with left bundle branch block (LBBB), New York Heart Association (NYHA) class II-IV and refractory to optimal medical therapy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with histories of recent myocardial infarction (< 3 months), atrial fibrillation, pulmonary hypertension, hepatic and renal failure, malignant cancer, pulmonary fibrosis, anemia and thyroid disease were excluded from the study.
