Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Lateral malleolus fracture combined with deltoid ligament injury patients who receive open reduction and internal fixation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with a history of ankle surgery; 2) Patients with ankle tumors or/and deformities; 3) Patients with chronic ankle instability before injury; 4) Patients receive other treatment, such as conservative treatment or external fixation etc.; 5) Patients combined with other severe disease, such as severe osteoporosis, tumor etc.
